Vancouver To Hornby

Last Saturday morning I pedaled out of Vancouver with my good friend Andy. We decided to take our love of bicycling to new heights and distances. Neither of us had accomplished quite a feet like this before but, were up for the challenge. Our Destination, Hornby Island. Each way was 135km for a round trip total of 270km. We decided the best way to tackle this journey would be to take our time and feel it out. The way there we took a couple breaks and arrived oon Hornby Island in just under 6 hours of being on our bikes. We stayed on Hornby for 4 days and spent our days lazing by the beach, kayaking, and biking around to all the amazing spots this majestic little Island has to offer.

When it came time to head back we decided to challenge our selves by shaving sometime off. With everything Mother Nature could throw at us we put our heads down and barrelled down the Highway. We ended up cutting nearly 2 hours off of our pedal and made it into Vancouver just intime to catch one of its world renowned sunsets.
